Hello Book Nerds and happy second Monday to you all!! I hope everyone had a fun and blessed weekend with the people you love most! It was pretty cold out so if you stayed inside you probably picked the warmest place to be!! I had to get out a few times and boy was that wind brutal! But! That just gave me some time to be thankful and grateful my coat.
I don’t know about any of you but I hadn’t been to the circus in a long, long, long time! Let’s just say it was an experience I will never forget, mostly because I held my breath the whole time while watching three people walk across a tight rope together!! It was a fun time all in all, although I don’t think my ears have recovered from all the children screaming at the top of their lungs… Although now I think I’ll need to experience a Cirque Du Soleil event so I can do a proper comparison between the two!
I’m almost finished with ‘The Atlas Complex’ and oowee it’s a doozy!! If you’re wanting to get into sci-fi I definitely recommend reading this series after you’ve dipped your toe into this particular pool! After having read the first two books and now being almost completely finished with the third, I’m confident in saying I am going to reread this series because I have no doubt I’ve missed very important information along the way!! Part of that I think is because of how well Blake’s writing is, and partly because it’s a Monday and the synapses in my brain are not firing as quickly as they’re supposed to right now!!
But what I really want to know is what are you all reading?? What have books have you just finished? Did any of them make you cry? Laugh? Wish that you could read that book again for the first time? I want to know all about it down in the comments!! And if you know someone who you think would enjoy this bookish blog tell them about it!! I am always excited and eager to hear from new readers!!
